Read this article to understand the recommended SQL & Remote Desktop Server Specifications for Sybiz Vision.
Sybiz Vision (from version 23 onwards) runs on Microsoft SQL Server. The supported versions are:
- SQL 2017 Server (from Vision version 16 onwards)
- SQL 2019 Server (from Vision version 18.1x onwards)
From Vision version 23 the minimum SQL version is SQL 2017 server.
SQL Standard Editions are recommended (not SQL Express Editions).
If implementing a stand-alone SQL server that will run the Sybiz Vision database (and perhaps Sybiz Visipay or another similar small application) we recommend the following guidelines that cover the majority of use cases.
Note: Please contact us to install and configure SQL server to our preferred configuration. Please do not install SQL Server as it’s possible we will be uninstalling it and re-installing it.
